About the Role

As a senior full stack developer at Booz Allen, you'll use your passion to master new tools and techniques, identify system improvements, and help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. This role involves developing software and systems from vision to production-ready, considering current architecture and future enhancements, in a fast, agile environment. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Key Responsibilities

Develop software and systems from vision to production-ready state.
Use architectural approaches, tools, and technologies to solve client challenges.
Ensure solutions consider current architecture, operating environment, and future functionality.
Master new tools and techniques to improve system performance and capabilities.
Identify needed system improvements and implement them effectively.

Requirements

5+ years of experience with Software Development.
4+ years of experience with AWS, including API Gateway, Lambda, SNS, or SQS.
Experience with Java and Spring Boot for building microservices.
Experience building event-driven architectures.
Knowledge of Angular Framework.
Knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Bachelor's degree.
Ability to pay attention to detail and manage data calls.
Ability to work independently and respond to short-turn tasking in a fast-paced environment.
Possession of excellent analytical and communication skills.

Nice to Have

Experience with using Kafka.
Experience with Serverless Framework.
Experience with application containers and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
Experience with AWS infrastructure as code through CDK or Terraform.
Experience with RDS database Aurora and PostgreSQL.
