About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with various stakeholders to align software development with strategic goals.
• Review, assess, and recommend software changes.
• Implement and support large-scale client programs involving numerous interfaces or system modifications.
• Project future software and hardware needs for claims applications.
• Assist in implementation of large client programs involving numerous interfaces or system modifications.
• Review software change requests to identify duplication, similarities, and feasibility and recommend specific actions.
• Provide recommendations toward prioritization of tactical and strategic change requests.

Requirements

• Experience with software scalability, data integrity, and application integration.
• Leadership in managing analyst/programmers and technical teams.
• Experience in project design and strategic technology initiatives.
• Ability to evaluate and prioritize software change requests.
• Ten (10) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Seven (7) years of software and development experience.
• Five (5) years of hands-on programming experience in database and data-driven applications (strongly preferred).
• Clear and excellent communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, specifications, and application architecture.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving abilities.
• Leadership and motivational capabilities.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Candidate management preferred.
• Master's degree strongly preferred.
