Full Stack Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop full-stack solutions to support fixed income trading and portfolio management.
• Collaborate with investment teams to understand business needs and deliver technology solutions.
• Lead and mentor other engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Build and maintain single-page applications using HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Angular.
• Develop backend services using Java, Spring framework, and Oracle databases.
• Implement messaging solutions using technologies such as Kafka.
• Create and consume RESTful APIs and manage web containers.
• Utilize SQL/PLSQL for data manipulation and reporting.
• Deploy and manage services on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).
• Apply microservice architecture and twelve-factor app principles.
• Conduct comprehensive testing using tools like Karate, JUnit, Cypress, and Playwright.
• Collaborate with architecture and data services teams to enhance application performance and scalability.
• Provide production support, including on-call responsibilities when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in software engineering.
• Proven experience in full-stack development.
• Proficiency in Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong backend development skills with Java, Spring, Oracle, and messaging technologies.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Hands-on experience with testing frameworks and automation tools.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in Agile environments and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Nice to Have

• Experience in asset management or fixed income trading environments.
• Familiarity with financial data and investment workflows.
• Passion for learning and applying new technologies in financial services.
