About the Role

The opportunity is to leverage software engineering expertise in a high-impact role supporting the Air Force's Cloud One platform. The Full-Stack Engineer will work with teams to expand and support the client's platform, focusing on migration, solutioning of mission-critical capabilities, and understanding architecture and development environments across multiple cloud providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with current and new software development teams to understand their architecture and tooling.
  • Develop onboarding paths to the client's platform.
  • Assist in migration and solutioning of mission-critical capabilities.
  • Leverage and expand the platform using expertise in cloud providers, databases, networking, and architectures.
  • Troubleshoot application code and configurations.
  • Collaborate across engineering teams and communicate effectively.
  • Work independently within an Agile environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with software development concepts such as Python, Golang, and Rust.
  • 1+ years of experience with containerization and deployment with Kubernetes.
  • 1+ years of experience with CI/CD and developer workflow automation, including GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and Flux.
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or Oracle.
  • Experience building microservice full-stack applications (frontend, backend, data storage).
  • Ability to troubleshoot application code and configurations.
  • Ability to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in an Agile environment.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Experience with technical documentation for engineers.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including Terraform and Ansible.
  • Experience with Cloud Native services such as virtual servers, database services, and networking infrastructure.
  • Experience managing and configuring Ubuntu, RHEL, and Windows Server operating systems.
  • Possession of excellent communication skills.
  • Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering.
  • Foundational-level or higher Cloud Certifications.
