Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of skilled engineers, providing technical guidance and people management.
Take complete ownership of a critical area in the pricing and rating engine, leading both delivery and long-term direction.
Coach and mentor developers, fostering both technical and leadership growth.
Promote continuous improvement of development practices, processes, and team agility.
Collaborate closely with product, architecture, and cross-functional teams to align priorities and drive impact.
Participate in and lead high-level design and architecture discussions.
Interface with customer-facing teams, such as Professional Services and Customer Satisfaction, to ensure alignment and address customer needs.
Travel to customer meetings to gather feedback, understand requirements, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

5 years of experience as a team leader, preferably with a full-stack team.
Strong backend development skills in Java; experience in Python is a plus.
Hands-on experience in building performant, scalable systems.
Experience with full-stack development is an advantage.
Familiarity with both monolithic and microservices architectures.
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes is an advantage.
Agile mindset with practical experience in Scrum methodologies.
Strong customer-facing orientation.
Experience working with offshore teams.
Willingness to travel to customer sites on a bi-monthly basis.

Nice to Have

Experience in full-stack development.
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.

Qualifications

5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably with a full-stack team.
