About the Role

The trucking industry is a critical component of the global economy, with over 3.5 million drivers annually and generating more than $700 billion in revenue. CloudTrucks is building the operating system for trucking, providing an all-in-one platform that automates operations and accelerates cash flow for drivers. As a Software Engineer on the Growth team, you will play a pivotal role in scaling the company's products and infrastructure to support rapid growth while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Design, test, ship, and maintain solutions to problems and products.
Work across frontend and backend systems to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Take complete ownership over projects and features.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure a complete and delightful customer experience.
Help set and improve engineering processes, standards, and tooling.
Mentor other engineers and help them grow in their roles.

Requirements

Strong technical background, including 4+ years of industry experience as a software engineer working on production systems.
Self-motivated and comfortable operating in a dynamic environment.
Takes a user-focused approach, shipping incrementally with rapid iterations.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with web technologies and system design.

Nice to Have

Full-stack experience building responsive layouts with React, HTML, and CSS.
Experience with our technical stack: Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Javascript, Typescript, React, Google Cloud.

Salary range of $155K – $225K, depending on experience and location.
