Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop reusable UI components using React, Next.js, and CSS, and build robust and scalable server-side applications using Node.js, Drizzle ORM, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement data models and schema migrations using Drizzle, our database schema management tool
  • Write efficient and well-documented code, following best practices and coding standards, and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring high-quality and reliable solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to improve our technology stack and drive innovation
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize project requirements, and ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business goals
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the growth and development of the team through knowledge-sharing
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless deployment and operation of web applications
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business requirements
  • Participate in architectural discussions and help define technical strategies and roadmaps for web development
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the team through innovation, experimentation, and knowledge-sharing
  • Mentor and coach team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their careers
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase team efficiency and productivity

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance so must be a US Citizen
  • Proven experience in full stack web development with a focus on React, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of database design and development using Object Relational Mapping (ORM)
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, principles, and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of security best practices and experience with security testing
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Jest, Mocha) and experience with unit testing and integration testing
