Futures Front Office Technical Lead (Full Stack Engineer)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Involve with all phases of futures Technology projects including requirements gathering/analysis, design, architecting, project managing, development, testing, and implementation.
• Provide technical support of our Futures execution stack, supporting internal and external clients across vendor platforms and internal systems, including FIX client onboarding and certifications.
• Be responsible for incident and problem resolution, ensuring best-in-class service to our user base.

Requirements

• Experience with front office trading is highly required.
• Previous development skills with Java are required and Python.
• Scripting experience preferably in Python.
• Strong technical skills with Java development and SQL database experience.
• Experience navigating UNIX/LINUX environments and shell scripting.
• Analytical skills and excellent troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong Futures eTrading systems and exchange connectivity experience, including knowledge and hands-on experience with the FIX Protocol for client FIX certification and normalization.
• Vendor system knowledge such as Itiviti ULLINK, FIS Valdi, TT, Bloomberg TradeBook, Clearvision, Fidessa, etc.
• Good communication skills, able to interact effectively with traders, vendors, back-office personnel, and other IT teams.
• Ability to articulate and communicate with a range of stakeholders from traders to developers and engineers.

Nice to Have

• Experience with additional programming languages and technologies.
• Experience working in a global, multi-location team environment.
