About the Role

The Head of Analytics and Measurement Platforms, GTM at Google is responsible for leading a team to drive the sales, go-to-market, and commercialization strategy for Google Analytics and related measurement products. The role involves working closely with global product teams, regional partners, and executive leadership to shape product strategy, understand customer needs, and influence the future development of measurement platforms that enable cross-media investment measurement and AI-powered insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of managers and individual contributors, providing coaching and performance management.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for rapidly changing products and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Partner with sales, marketing, and product management leads to set goals and strategies for the business.
  • Represent products and business in negotiations, de-escalate issues or roadblocks, and communicate measurement context in VP-level and executive forums.
  • Work closely with global and regional teams to understand customer needs and product usage worldwide.
  • Influence and align global teams on measurement product priorities and strategies.
  • Sit on the Measurement, Audience and Data Leadership team to help shape global strategy for bringing products to market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 13 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 8 years with an advanced degree.
  • 5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
  • Experience managing a team in a dynamic, changing environment.
  • Experience with cross-functional influence and stakeholder management.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge and experience with Google Analytics.
  • Knowledge of measurement advertising products and platform offerings.
  • Ability to influence counterparts in Sales, Product, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Ability to navigate cross-functional organizations.
  • Ability to manage customer relationships and communicate change.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders and drive results without official authority.

Qualifications

  • Formal educational background including a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience in management consulting, sales, or related fields, with a minimum of 8-13 years depending on education level.
