Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy cloud infrastructure solutions on GCP and on-prem tech stacks.
Leverage tools such as Terraform, BigQuery, Bigtable, Cloud Storage, PubSub, Kafka, Data Fusion, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Build, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Airflow, and Vertex AI for Big Data deployments.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Tekton, Maven, Gradle, and other tools.
Administer Linux and Windows environments to support cloud and on-prem solutions.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure clean code practices and test-driven development (TDD).
Work with data management and BI tools, including SQL/PLSQL, Power BI, and Looker.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of GCP core infrastructure and experience with cloud and on-prem tech stacks.
Experience working in GCP-based Big Data deployments (Batch/Real-Time).
Proficiency with Docker, GitHub, Jenkins, Tekton, and deploying applications on GCP.
5+ years of professional GCP engineering experience.
3+ years of professional development experience with SQL/PLSQL, Python or similar scripting languages, Java or similar object-oriented languages.
3+ years of experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines such as Jenkins, Tekton, Maven, Gradle.
Proficiency with SQL-based databases like Oracle, Teradata, Snowflake, Redshift, and BigQuery.
Experience with Linux and Windows environment administration.
Experience with iterative development and clean code concepts.
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

Nice to Have

2+ years mentoring engineers.
In-depth software engineering knowledge.
Experience working with BI, ETL, Data Management tools such as Informatica, IBM DataStage, QLIK, Looker.
Knowledge of API development (REST API).
Master's Degree.
