About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy Java applications on Apache Tomcat application servers.
• Design and implement web interfaces using Tapestry, HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS3, Sass, and Less.
• Build and consume Web Services (REST/JSON, SOAP, WSDL).
• Automate processes using UC4 job scheduling tools.
• Implement and manage ActiveMQ messaging services.
• Design and optimize relational databases using SQL, stored procedures, and relational database principles.
• Work with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Implement Spring Security for enterprise application security.
• Use JDBC for database connectivity.
• Operate in Unix environments, including shell scripting.
• Manage source code with GIT.
• Develop and run automated tests using frameworks like JUnit, HTTP Unit, Selenium.
• Use build tools such as Maven or Gradle.

Requirements

• 5 years of professional experience in Java application development and deployment.
• 5 years of web development experience with HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS3, Sass, and Less.
• 5 years of experience building and consuming Web Services (REST/JSON, SOAP, WSDL).
• 5 years of experience working with EDI Transaction Sets (270/271, 276/277, 837) and automation with UC4.
• 5 years of experience with ActiveMQ messaging services.
• 5 years of SQL, stored procedures, relational database design, and experience with MongoDB.
• 5 years of implementing Spring Security.
• 5 years of JDBC experience.
• 5 years of Unix environment experience, including shell scripting.
• 5 years of experience with GIT for source control.
• 5 years of experience with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, HTTP Unit, Selenium).
• 3 years of experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.

Nice to Have

• Experience with the latest versions of Python and Django.
• Proficiency with Subversion and Maven for source control and build automation.
• Skilled in using Eclipse, NetBeans, and HTML/JavaScript IDEs.
• Experience working with Oracle Linux Servers, SQL Server, and IDMS databases.
• Experience with Business Process Management (BPM) platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Medicaid eligibility systems and related business operations.
• Practical experience supporting and enhancing Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS).
• Strong understanding of Medicaid operations and regulatory requirements.
