Key Responsibilities

Participate in solution design to satisfy a wide range of business needs.
Analyze and translate business requirements into technical requirements for development, and create design documents and technical specifications.
Adhere to best practices and standards in the areas of technology and security.
Provide post-implementation support including monitoring application performance and debugging existing code.
Keep abreast of advancements and changes in technology and develop an understanding of how new technologies can be leveraged to provide business solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and/or a related field or work experience.
Minimum competencies in .NET and RESTful with strong skills in at least one additional competency.
Strong relational database knowledge.
Understanding of best practices and methods to integrate applications within the organization and with external partners.
Strong knowledge of the full software development lifecycle, with exposure to agile or iterative approaches preferred.
Working knowledge of network and/or server infrastructure required to host applications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and business functions.
Strong analytical skills to determine effective approaches to business solutions.
Ability to perform effectively in a team-oriented environment. Experience with Agile strongly desired.
Ability to obtain a security clearance.
Knowledge in the area of NIST compliance strongly desired.
Proficiency with Microsoft .NET frameworks (6.0 and higher).
Experience with C#.
Experience with Microsoft IIS.
Experience with REST Web Services.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and higher.
Experience with Angular / Node JS.
Experience with Git / Gitlab.
Experience with JIRA.
Experience with Postgres.

Nice to Have

Experience with Agile development methodologies.
