About the Role

The Java AWS Developer role involves developing and maintaining applications in an Agile environment, with a focus on designing, coding, testing, and debugging. The position requires hands-on experience with AWS solutions, Java frameworks, microservices, and containerization technologies, supporting the company's cloud-based application infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Strong Application Development experience in an Agile environment.
Solid application design, coding, testing, maintenance, and debugging skills.
Hands-on experience with JUnit and Cucumber testing frameworks.
Proficiency in APM monitoring tools and logging tools like Splunk.
Developing RESTful microservices using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, REST, and MQ.
Implementing AWS solutions such as Amazon ECS, EC2, S3, API Gateway, Amazon Aurora, ALB, and Route 53.
Experience with version control and CI/CD tools: Git/Bitbucket, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins.
Hands-on with Kubernetes and Kafka for containerization and messaging solutions.

Requirements

Mandatory skills include Java, Microservices, AWS, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
Strong hands-on experience in AWS solution implementation.
Expertise in Core Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services/SOA.
Experience with Java frameworks: Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, JPA, REST, MQ.
Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence (preferred).
