About the Role

BCforward is seeking a highly motivated Java Developer for an opportunity in Charlotte, NC. The role involves supporting treasury, payment, and transaction services, with a focus on system and data analysis, testing, and development of microservices using modern Java and related technologies. Key Responsibilities

Support parallel projects in waterfall, agile, or other development methodologies in a fast-paced environment.
Perform system and data analysis based on business needs, including integration testing and data quality validation.
Create test plans, scripts, and artifacts for all phases of testing.
Identify, document, and resolve data quality and data integrity issues.
Analyze and test DDCT mappings, workflows, sessions, and other MW jobs/processes.
Ensure adherence to locally defined standards.
Support treasury/payment/transactions services development and maintenance.
Map requirements and support testing data to meet business requirements.

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience as a Dev professional in treasury/payment/transactions services.
Proficiency with mapping and requirements analysis.
Experience with testing data, data quality, and data integrity validation.
Knowledge of system and data analysis, including integration testing.
Experience with React and Next.js, building UI components and managing sessions.
Proficiency with asynchronous data handling using RxJS or datastore.
Experience with Oracle 19c or higher, PL/SQL, and performance optimization.
Experience with Node 18 or higher, Spring Boot, building microservices, and Java 17+ features.
Knowledge of security and performance enhancements in service layers.

Nice to Have

Experience with Confluent or Kafka for messaging queue services.
Experience with Docker containerization and deploying in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or Red Hat OpenShift.
Knowledge of Python 3.10 or higher, creating secure API routes in Flask.
Experience with data aggregation and transformation using numpy or AI tools.
Experience with MongoDB and converting relational schemas to non-relational models.
