Be a driving force in the development of a consolidated platform of microservices, uniting disparate applications into a seamless, holistic user experience. Lead the charge in technical design, development, and implementation, leveraging your expertise to shape the future of equity compensation management. This role offers the chance to mentor and guide a skilled team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies, leading technology solutioning across a large team.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including high-level design, system design documents, and architecture documents, securing necessary approvals from the architect team.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, coordinating with offshore development and testing teams as needed.
  • Champion security best practices, ensuring code is vulnerability-free, reusable, flexible, and performant.
  • Configure automated builds and deployments using tools like Bamboo, Jenkins, GitHub, or Travis CI.
  • Write comprehensive unit test cases for all code implementations.
  • Create Bamboo pipelines for CI/CD into PCF environments.
  • Adhere to established guidelines for best development practices.
  • Actively participate in and contribute to all agile ceremonies.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of work experience with a bachelor's degree or an advanced degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience developing with Java, Spring-Boot, Spring Framework, Cloud-based development, RESTful microservices, and micro-UI development.
  • Experience mentoring junior and staff-level developers.
  • Strong expertise in system design, from mid-scale to enterprise applications.
  • Proven ability to translate proposed architecture and leadership goals into detailed technical design documents and solution roadmaps.
  • Experience with the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including delivery.
  • Strong ability to design for functional and non-functional qualities, including availability, resiliency, security, and performance.
  • 1-3 years of experience with Atlassian tool suites (Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jira, Confluence).
  • Experience using IDEs and Git repositories for code management.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with test-driven development (TDD) or behavior-driven development (BDD).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
