Key Responsibilities

Develop applications in compliance with functional and non-functional requirements.
Construct unit test cases that ensure compliance with functional and non-functional requirements.
Follow design and code standards, contributing to continuous improvement discussions.
Create and maintain system documentation.
Align risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalate appropriately.
Contribute to the design of components or individual programs.
Provide production support for applications as needed.
Work with subject matter experts reviewing technical designs and specifications.
Apply different software development methodologies dependent on project needs.
Work with peers to mature ways of working, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.

Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
Back-end Java development experience with good understanding of core Java and standard frameworks such as Spring.
Knowledge of Apache Camel and/or Spring Integration and Spring Cloud Stream frameworks.
Working experience with Snowflake is a plus.
Experience with streaming platforms (Kafka) and Python.
Good knowledge of SQL and experience working with RDBMS.
Strong understanding of agile development methodologies.
Experience with AWS and Big Data technologies is a big plus.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate well within and across teams.
Ability to stay current on changes in the specialist area and seek out learning opportunities.

Nice to Have

Experience with Snowflake.
Experience with AWS and Big Data technologies.
Experience with Kafka and Python.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
