About the Role

Solution IT Inc. is looking for a Java Developer w/Kotlin for one of its clients in Phoenix AZ. The role involves working as a Software Engineer in an Agile team, responsible for building and maintaining integration APIs for the Commercial Banking Unit using Java and Kotlin. The team collaborates with Product Owners, Designers, and QA to deliver solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Work as a Software Engineer in an Agile team to design, build, and maintain APIs for the Commercial Banking Unit.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and QA teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Support and enhance customer-facing RESTful APIs.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle including testing and deployment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or equivalent.
6 years of Java/functional programming experience.
1 year of experience with Public Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
6 years of experience with Version Control tools like Git and project management tools like Jira.
Experience designing and supporting customer-facing RESTful APIs.
Thorough understanding of JSON, Web Service technologies, and data structure fundamentals.
Good understanding of design concepts and design patterns.
Experience with Agile development, application design, software development, and testing.
Aptitude for learning and applying programming concepts.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with Stakeholders, Product, and Experience owners.
Experience with CICD tools and DevOps practices.
