Java Full Stack Architect

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and review performance aspects of new and existing code.
• Perform code reviews to ensure quality is maintained.
• Perform proof of concepts (POCs) for new technologies that may be leveraged.
• Work as a full-stack developer and architect in complex engineering projects.
• Collaborate effectively within a fast-paced and agile environment.
• Communicate effectively via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
• Minimum 7 years of core development and architecture experience.
• Strong analysis and design skills with expertise in core development, design, and architecture patterns.
• Deep expertise in Java Microservice Based Architecture, Spring Boot, Spring Frameworks, JavaScript, Angular 7+, MySQL.
• Experience with Mesos/Marathon, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka/RabbitMQ.
• Experience in developing and deploying microservices.
• Solid understanding of refactoring, object-oriented and functional design patterns.
• Experience with AWS services or other cloud platforms.
• Ability to write high-quality, performant code.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS cloud deployments (S3, SNS, SQS, RDS, DynamoDB) using tools like Terraform or AWS CLI.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as OpenShift, GCP, Azure.
• Experience in customizing third-party COTS products and SaaS platforms.
• Strong understanding of domain expertise and industry standards.
• OS experience in Linux, Solaris, or Mac OSX.
• Industry-acclaimed external certifications.
• Active participation in technology forums.
• Contribution to open source community.
