About the Role

Infosys is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements elicitation, application architecture definition, and design. The role involves creating high-level design artifacts, delivering high-quality code, leading validation and testing activities, and supporting implementation, transition, and warranty phases. Key Responsibilities

Interface with key stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
Apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements elicitation, application architecture definition, and design.
Create high-level design artifacts for software modules.
Deliver high-quality code for assigned modules.
Lead validation activities for all types of testing.
Support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty phases.

Requirements

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or Tampa, FL and willing to relocate; travel to project locations may be required.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of education.
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
Proficiency in Core Java and Advanced Java, Microservices, SOAP/REST.
Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
Knowledge of application servers like Weblogic, Apache, JBoss.
Experience with platforms including Unix, Linux, and all versions of Microsoft Windows.
Familiarity with DevOps tools such as AWS, Jenkins, Jira, SVN/CVS, Gitlab.
Experience with databases like Oracle, Postgres, SQL.
Knowledge of messaging frameworks such as Java Messaging API, Apache Kafka.
Experience in Telecom/Networking domain.
Familiarity with design methodologies like Agile, Scrum, and Design Patterns.
Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
Knowledge of JPA, Hibernate, SOAP/REST, JMS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Apache Camel, HTML5, CSS3, Postgres, and hands-on AI experience (e.g., GenAI, AgenticAI).

Nice to Have

Experience with design methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Design Patterns.
Knowledge of JPA, Hibernate, SOAP/REST, JMS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Apache Camel, HTML5, CSS3, Postgres, and hands-on AI experience including GenAI and AgenticAI.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
Three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
