About the Role

The Java Full Stack Developer role is based in McLean, Virginia, and involves working onsite to develop and deliver end-to-end projects using Java and related technologies. The position requires candidates to be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. The role focuses on developing rich, responsive user interfaces and backend services, with a strong emphasis on AWS cloud services and modern development practices.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver end-to-end projects utilizing Java, J2EE, and related technologies.
Design and develop rich and responsive user interfaces using Angular, NodeJS, HTML, and CSS.
Develop functionalities using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
Work with AWS services such as S3, SQS, SNS, ECS, Lambda, and CloudWatch in deployed applications.
Diagnose production issues and defects to ensure application stability.
Collaborate with team members in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Learn new technologies and perform proof-of-concept (POC) activities.

Requirements

Around 8-10 years of Core Java development experience, familiar with Java 8 or higher.
Experience with Java development and awareness of Java patterns.
Proficiency in Spring Boot and Microservices development.
Experience with AWS services and deployed AWS applications.
Experience with Angular, NodeJS, HTML, and CSS for UI development.
Agile/Scrum development experience.
Good collaboration and communication skills.
Ability to learn new technologies and perform POC activities.
