About the Role

Infosys is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements elicitation, application architecture definition and design. The role involves creating high-level design artifacts, delivering high-quality code for modules, leading validation and testing activities, and supporting implementation, transition, and warranty phases. Key Responsibilities

Interface with key stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements elicitation, application architecture definition, and design.
Create high-level design artifacts.
Deliver high-quality code deliverables for a module.
Lead validation for all types of testing.
Support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.

Requirements

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or Tampa, FL and be willing to relocate; travel to project locations may be required.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
Programming skills in Core Java and Advanced Java, Microservices, SOAP/REST.
Scripting languages: JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
Experience with application servers: Weblogic, Apache, JBoss.
Platform experience: Unix, Linux, all versions of Microsoft Windows.
Experience with DevOps tools: AWS, Jenkins, Jira, SVN/CVS, Gitlab.
Database knowledge: Oracle, Postgres, SQL.
Messaging frameworks: Java Messaging API, Apache Kafka.
Experience in Telecom/Networking domain.
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Design Patterns.
Experience with container orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker.
Knowledge of JPA, Hibernate, SOAP/REST, JMS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Apache Camel, HTML5, CSS3, Postgres, Hands-on AI (e.g., GenAI, AgenticAI).

Nice to Have

Messaging frameworks: Java Messaging API, Apache Kafka.
Domain: Telecom/Networking.
Design methodologies: Agile, Scrum, Design Patterns.
Container orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker.

Qualifications
