Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing software in Java, object-oriented databases.
  • Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle.
  • Design, implement and maintain Java-based applications that can be high-volume and low-latency.
  • Participate fully in the development process through the entire software lifecycle.
  • Participate fully in the agile software development process.
  • Write code and write it well.
  • Use test-driven development, write clean code, and refactor constantly.

Requirements

  • 10 years hands-on experience in financial domain, with strong leadership skills.
  • Extremely good with micro services tech stack.
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift.
  • Experience with cloud computing.
  • Knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cloudera, HBase, Hive).
  • Experience with Kafka streaming.
  • Core Java - server-side programming.
  • Experience with Spring Boot/Spring Cloud.
  • Understanding of Object Oriented Principles.
  • Experience in low latency programming.
  • Experience implementing Event Driven architecture.
  • Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Strong academic record.
  • Team player.

Nice to Have

  • Strong Web Technologies - React JS, Redux, Angular JS.
  • Experience with Node JS, Spring Boot, NginX.
  • Knowledge of WebSocket.
  • Reactive Programming - RxJS.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership skills in the financial domain.
  • Technical expertise in Java, microservices, cloud, and databases.
  • Experience with low latency and event-driven architectures.
  • Proficiency in TDD and clean coding practices.
