About the Role

Infosys is seeking a Java Developer with Microservices expertise. This position involves interfacing with key stakeholders and applying technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements elicitation, application architecture definition, and design. The role includes creating high-level design artifacts, delivering high-quality code for modules, leading validation and testing activities, and supporting implementation, transition, and warranty phases. Key Responsibilities

Interface with key stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
Apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements elicitation, architecture definition, and design.
Create high-level design artifacts for software modules.
Deliver high-quality code for assigned modules.
Lead validation efforts for all types of testing.
Support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty phases.

Requirements

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Austin, TX or be willing to relocate prior to onboarding.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.
At least 2 years of experience in building and supporting web development and modern scalable web applications.
At least 2 years of experience in Java/J2EE Technologies.
Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE Technologies with in-depth knowledge of Spring frameworks such as Spring Boot with microservices, Spring Security, Spring MVC, Spring Data, JPA, and Hibernate.
In-depth knowledge of Spring Frameworks.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Nice to Have

Hands-on experience with Spring reactive and Spring WebFlux.
Experience with Cucumber or Selenium.
High-level knowledge of enterprise application deployment using CI/CD.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across multiple business and technical teams.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to independently learn new technologies.
Passionate, team player, and fast learner.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in a relevant field.
Three years of progressive experience in the specialty can substitute for education.
