About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable applications using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud to meet airline industry standards.
• Implement microservices architecture with Netflix Hystrix and Eureka to ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
• Utilize Docker Container and Docker Administration to streamline application deployment and management.
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAUTH and JSON Web Token for secure access.
• Collaborate with teams to design and implement REST APIs and SOAP services for seamless data exchange.
• Optimize application performance using EHCache and Redis for efficient data caching.
• Conduct unit testing with Junit and Mockito to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Manage source code repositories using GITHUB and Docker Hub for version control and collaboration.
• Utilize API Gateway for efficient routing and management of API requests.
• Implement logging and monitoring solutions with Apache Log4J to track application performance.
• Develop front-end components using JQuery, CSS, and HTML for a responsive user interface.
• Use Gradle and Maven for build automation and dependency management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work model to deliver projects on time.
• Ensure compliance with airline industry regulations and standards in all development activities.

Requirements

• Possess strong expertise in Java and Spring Framework for backend development.
• Demonstrate proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Have experience with cloud platforms such as AWS for DevOps practices.
• Show understanding of microservices architecture and related technologies.
• Exhibit knowledge of authentication protocols like OAUTH and JWT.
• Be familiar with front-end technologies including JQuery, CSS, and HTML.
• Have experience in the airline industry domain understanding its specific requirements.
• Be skilled in using development tools like Eclipse and IntelliJ IDEA.
• Understand the importance of version control and collaboration tools like GITHUB.
• Be capable of writing efficient unit tests using Junit and Mockito.
• Have experience with caching solutions like EHCache and Redis.
• Be knowledgeable in API management and gateway solutions.
• Understand the importance of logging and monitoring in application development.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Linkerd and Istio service meshes.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience with API Gateway solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience of 4 to 6 years in software development, particularly in Java and related technologies.
