About the Role

This role involves working on development, testing, maintenance, and support for Java/J2EE and Angular applications. The individual will be responsible for overall project delivery and operations, including designing, developing, integrating, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise-level applications. The position requires collaboration within an Agile environment, technical leadership, and production support responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and support enterprise-level applications.
Perform development and testing activities, including automation and manual testing, based on sprint needs.
Deliver projects using Agile software development methodologies.
Design and implement complex enterprise integrations with industry standard technologies.
Participate in the day-to-day activities of the development team.
Build and maintain test automation suite.
Support planning activities such as impact assessments, level of effort analysis, and developer task assignments.
Conduct and participate in detailed design reviews and validate that the design follows the approved architecture.
Conduct regular code reviews to ensure best practices are being followed.
Deliver knowledge transfer sessions to new development team members.
Participate in on-call production support rotation.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

3+ years' experience in Information Technology.
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field or equivalent working experience.
3+ years of hands-on experience in design, implementation, and production support of Java/J2EE applications, Spring Framework (Spring Boot), relational databases, SQL, web services.
Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to analyze system functionality and resolve production issues.
Experience applying Object Oriented Analysis and Design principles.
Practical experience designing and building enterprise and/or distributed systems.
Ability to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle ambiguity.
Experience with systems and software architecture.

Nice to Have

Hands-on Selenium development for test automation.
Experience with Apigee, Shell Scripting, Autosys, Angular, JavaScript, AWS.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent working experience.
