About the Role

The Junior Developer role at Informa involves reviewing, analyzing, and modifying programming systems, including coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and deploying programs. The position also requires analyzing and modifying data related to the programming systems and participating in system analysis and design using OOAD for existing and new software systems. The role can be based in York, NY, Boston, MA, Washington, D.C., or Boca Raton, FL, and offers opportunities to work with a global company that connects customers to information and professional networks.

Key Responsibilities

Review, analyze, and modify programming systems to ensure functionality and performance.
Code, test, debug, document, and deploy software programs.
Analyze and modify data related to the programming systems worked on.
Participate in system analysis and design using Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) methodologies such as UML.
Collaborate with product development groups and communicate effectively with team members.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
2 to 3+ years of experience in creating and maintaining software systems.
Experience developing web applications using .NET, C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, XML, HTML/CSS, and JSON.
At least one year of experience using T-SQL for SQL Server.
Familiarity or experience with REACT, SSIS, and related technologies is a plus.
Knowledge of finance and performance measurement concepts is a plus.
Experience with Object-Oriented Analysis and Design methodologies like UML.
Excellent communication skills with other product development groups.
