About the Role

At General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), you'll be part of a team that makes a true impact by building cutting-edge mission-critical applications that help the end user accomplish their mission and keep people safe. The work involves designing and enhancing mission-critical user interfaces, such as geospatial awareness tools, using technologies like ReactJS, to support mission objectives in a fast-growing data environment. The position is located at Annapolis Junction, MD, supporting a GDIT program where the candidate will work with advanced technologies to support national security missions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop and support production user facing applications in support of mission objectives.
Provide ongoing development, maintenance, support, and software enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
Troubleshoot problems and provide customer support for software systems and application issues.
Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Work alongside other engineers on the team to sustain and advance the organization's capabilities.

Requirements

An active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Familiarity with React or other similar Front End Frameworks.
No demonstrated experience is required.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with TypeScript.
