About the Role

Amadeus is the leading technology provider to the travel industry, present in over 190 countries, powering every part of a traveler's journey with innovative solutions. The company has a strategic engineering hub in Istanbul, working with multinational teams to shape the future of travel. The Front End Development Engineer role involves collaborating within the Airline Engineering Services Unit to define software development strategies, technological frameworks, and functional approaches in an Agile environment. The position includes translating UI/UX wireframes into visual application elements and implementing Amadeus solutions across different countries.

Key Responsibilities

Design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain software solutions
Work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation
Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies
Collaborate in the validation/acceptance phase of the product cycle to ensure fine-tuning and finalization of the product

Requirements

BSc. / MSc. in Computer Science or related areas
Advanced level of written and oral English communication skills
Good knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript/Typescript, Sass, RxJS
Basic experience with JavaScript frameworks, with Angular preferred
Basic experience with version control systems such as Git (Bitbucket, Azure Repo)
Agile experience (Scrum/Kanban) is a plus
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
No overseas travel restrictions

Nice to Have

Experience with JavaScript frameworks (Angular preferred)

Qualifications

Educational background in Computer Science or related fields (BSc. / MSc.)
