About the Role

You will join the team that maintains the software handling complex logic for managing baggage, ancillary, regulatory, and flight-related processes at the core of the Amadeus Departure Control Customer Management application. The role involves working on the Amadeus Disruption product, contributing to software development phases for new features and improvements, and delivering projects on time in a team-based environment. The position is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of airline passenger servicing systems used by approximately 150 airlines and 1 billion passengers annually.

Key Responsibilities

Be accountable for the design of the product functionalities based on the product management requirements collection.
Analyze requirements submitted by Product Management (BRM, Business needs, SOR, early created CRs).
Deliver functional specifications and interfaces documentation of the product for your own area.
Interact with airlines to present solutions and ensure they meet business requirements.
Identify interactions and assess impacts with other Amadeus packages/products solutions to ensure functional compatibility.
Contribute to the detailed assessment of new gaps raised by customers.
Contribute to the development of customer-requested changes and enhancements to disruption products.
Obtain specification validation through functional reviews with Development, QA, and Product Management.
Ensure software quality by conducting code reviews of developments and team members' code.
Contribute to product quality by providing input for test strategies and defect investigations in production.
Provide technical knowledge support for Sales, Account Management, Development, Implementation, and Support requests.
Contribute inputs to Product Management for product enhancements, business cases, and RFP responses.
Participate in customer workshops and share industry trends, standards, and competition insights.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge of AJAX, CSS, JavaScript, Angular7+, TypeScript, RxJS, Bootstrap.
At least 2 years of experience as a Full stack developer with a frontend focus.
Familiarity with Web technologies like C++, RDMS/SQL (Oracle preferred), Linux.
Knowledge of other programming languages such as Java and Python is a plus.
Experience working with SOAP/REST Webservices and standards.
Good knowledge of Source Control Management tools like Git or Stash.
Experience in Agile software development, understanding of Kanban and SCRUM methodologies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, analytical and conceptual thinking, customer focus.
Proficiency in English to collaborate with an international team.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of Java and Python programming languages.
Experience with large-scale, complex system design and operation.

Qualifications
