Lead AI/ML Engineer-Python and RAG

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Work with clients to understand their issues and diagnose problems related to machine learning and AI solutions.
• Design and deploy Machine Learning models using Python and cloud platforms.
• Facilitate solution deployment on Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Connect various functions of cloud components to shape consulting solutions for clients.
• Evaluate multiple solution alternatives considering stakeholders and select the optimal solution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• Candidate must live within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC, or be willing to relocate; 4 days working from office is mandatory.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• At least 4 years of experience in developing programs/APIs using Python/Pyspark.
• At least 3 years of experience in AWS Sagemaker, MLOps, and Model Validation.
• At least 4 years of experience in Data Science, ML, NLP, Deep Learning, and Transform Models.
• At least 2 years of experience in Machine Learning Model development lifecycle, software engineering principles, and data engineering principles.
• At least 2 years of experience in Vector Databases such as Pinecone and Chroma.
• At least 2 years of experience in Generative AI and LLMs, specifically with Mistral, Llama, RAG, and GPT technologies.

Nice to Have

• Experience in MLOps, Model Monitoring, and Performance optimization.
• Experience in Load Balancing, GPU-based processing, and Performance Optimization.
• Experience in developing APIs on Azure, GCP, or Azure API Gateways.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools in AI-ML contexts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to address complex technical challenges.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• High impact client communication.
• Domain experience in Banking, Finance, and Capital Markets.
