About the Role

Infosys is seeking a Lead Java Microservices Developer. In the role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle in Java and Microservices. You will also be expected to build high-throughput, fault tolerant systems with requirements including elicitation, application architecture, definition and design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables. Key Responsibilities

Interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the SDLC in Java and Microservices.
Build high-throughput, fault tolerant systems based on elicitation, architecture, and design requirements.
Create high-level design artifacts and deliver high quality code deliverables.
Participate in a learning culture that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and diversity.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in lieu of education.
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
Experience in Java 8, REST, Springboot, Microservices, Kafka or MQ, OpenShift deployments.
Experience in SOAP/Restful web services, Oracle SQL/PL SQL Database.

Nice to Have

At least 5 years of experience in Java hands-on development.
Experience in Java 8, REST, Springboot, Microservices, Kafka or MQ, OpenShift deployments, Spring Security, JPA, XML, XSLT, JAXB, JAXP, MVC, various design patterns.
Experience in Agile, Scrum, and/or Test-Driven Development environment.
Experience in Project lifecycle activities on development and maintenance/Production Support projects.
In-depth knowledge about modern application architecture and practical experience with Microservices.
Framework experience like Spring Boot, Event Driven Services.
Cloud Native Applications Development.
Good knowledge of API design.
Some experience with DevOps practices such as Pipelines, CI / CD tools.
