About the Role

Infosys is seeking a Lead Java Springboot Developer. This position's primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate for day-to-day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the technical design of large business systems; build applications, interface between applications, understand data security, retention, and recovery. The role holder should be able to research technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards; contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability, and scalability; and guide/mentor the team during the build and test phases. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Raleigh NC or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise and coordinate for day-to-day deliverables for the team.
Assist in the technical design of large business systems.
Build applications and interfaces between applications.
Understand data security, retention, and recovery.
Research on technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions.
Contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards.
Contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including reliability, performance, and scalability.
Guide and mentor the team during the build and test phases.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
Experience in Java, REST, Springboot, Angular, microservices, Spring Security.
Experience in Agile/Scrum, DevOps CI-CD pipeline.

Nice to Have

At least 4 to 8 years of experience in Java, REST, Springboot, Microservices, Spring Security, XML, XSLT, JAXB, JAXP, MVC, Angular, CSS, Apijee, various design patterns.
Experience in software development life cycle.
Experience in AWS.
Experience in design and architecture review and maintenance projects.
Experience in project life cycle activities on development.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Experience working with global teams.
Experience in banking domain.
Ability to work in a team in diverse/multiple stakeholder environments.
Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
Three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
