Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the card product roadmap for BILL's virtual card product, working closely with Engineering, Design, Product Marketing, Sales, and Operations to execute.
  • Scale the product by prioritizing feature developments with growth experiments to drive adoption and activation metrics, collaborating with Data Science, Analytics, Sales, Post-sales, and Marketing.
  • Establish a continuous pulse on customer needs and competitive strength by gathering feedback from Sales, Marketing, and CX teams, and work with Engineering and Design to develop new features and optimize the user experience.
  • Continuously monitor key financial metrics to recognize drivers and create data-driven decisions, updating stakeholders regularly.
  • Bring in AI-driven innovations to improve end-to-end customer experience and operational efficiencies.
  • Act as a thought leader by leveraging internal data analysis and continuously discovering external payments industry trends and the competitive landscape.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience, with a background in launching growth loops and scaling products; experience in payments, cards, B2B financial software, or spend management is highly valued.
  • Proven track record of product development lifecycle ownership, including vision setting, research, testing, requirement documentation, MVP, launch, and maintenance.
  • Obsessed with understanding customer needs, pain points, and desires.
  • Highly analytical with a deep understanding of retention, churn, growth metrics, and continuous learning from analytics, user inputs, and market trends.
  • Strong business acumen demonstrated through impact on revenue growth, cost reduction, and customer success metrics.
  • Demonstrated growth mindset, proactively identifying opportunities, embracing feedback, and iterating with curiosity and resilience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong storytelling ability to galvanize teams and create buy-in with leadership and stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Skills in querying databases and tables to derive answers for product-related questions.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership in the payments or financial technology space, such as publications or speaking engagements.
