About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare data delivery Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), metrics reports, and correspondence to key stakeholders concerning project status and delivery.
• Consult with third-party software providers on technical issues, including software system design and maintenance.
• Provide strong technical leadership and coaching to the data delivery team, including technical guidance and direction related to data architecture and strategy.
• Lead non-functional requirements (NFR) definitions and implementation of data platforms.
• Design and develop computer software and specialized deployment pipelines for complex, micro-service based applications and APIs.
• Mentor and supervise the work of other software engineers.

Requirements

• 7 years of experience in Data technology and cloud environment with increasing technical leadership responsibilities in a cross-functional team setting or related field.
• Proven experience in designing, building, implementing, and tuning the performance and high availability of data warehousing and analytical solutions in AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Expertise in Snowflake data warehousing and analytics to meet usability and customer experience requirements.
• Experience driving data platform architecture in an agile delivery environment.
• Experience building scalable REST and GraphQL APIs for data ingestion and delivery.
• Proven track record of merging technical expertise and strategic business objectives to develop data solutions and drive objectives.
• Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring technical teams to develop robust, scalable data products.
• Bachelor's degree in any field.
