About the Role

The Lead - Software Engineer is responsible for designing and developing server programs for distribution center management. This role understands business and customer requirements that drive the design of the technical solutions and participate in all phases of product development lifecycle. The Lead - Software Engineer also resolves site requirement changes, and supports solutions to complete designed equipment installation.

Key Responsibilities

Handles complex application development.
Sets up and configures servers, line controllers, and workstations.
Installs on-site systems and maintains them through testing and troubleshooting.
Creates and designs server table layout and coordination.
Coordinates aspects of server and system testing and maintains technical documentation and resources to ensure proper project execution.
Performs additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
8+ years of progressive Software Engineering experience.
High proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications.
Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including analysis, interpretation, and reasoning.
Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers, colleagues, and clients.
Ability to work autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Ability to work with and influence peers and management.
Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.

Nice to Have

Advanced degree (MBA, Master's) preferred.
Periodic travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
8+ years of Software Engineering experience.
