About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work on deploying and managing applications on AWS and other cloud platforms, using various software frameworks such as Java, Node.js, Angular, React, and .NET. This position requires technical knowledge on AWS, SDLC concepts and will work independently with application development teams, business leaders, data and technical management to develop both architecture framework, and deliver solutions across multiple business units leveraging the use of container/microservice architecture and related platform. Key Responsibilities
- Work on deploying and managing applications on AWS and other cloud platforms.
- Develop architecture frameworks and deliver solutions across multiple business units.
- Create technical solutions to support multiple lines of business, including modernization and innovation.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver robust user experiences.
- Understand business goals behind features and create solutions that deliver value.
- Launch products that are high quality and impactful.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience delivering high-performance, public-facing web applications with demonstrative business impact.
- Proficiency in Javascript / Typescript (Node/React/Next/NestJS/Jest).
- Experience developing APIs (REST / GraphQL) and integrating with third-party systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of security best practices, e.g., OWASP, dealing with PII data.
- Experience with modern web application development, including build tools, testing, CI/CD, and AWS.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Redis, Micro-Frontends, and Micro-services.
