As a Lead Software Engineer within PNC's Lending Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Miamisburg, OH, Jacksonville, FL, Birmingham, AL, or Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and lead the technical design and development of software solutions.
  • Propose and design software solutions to address complex business needs.
  • Prepare technical and procedural documentation required.
  • Facilitate complex problem resolution.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Review coding, testing, and documentation of software.
  • Apply modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
  • Support production, incident, change, vulnerability, and certificate management.
  • Improve system reliability.
  • Serve as a mentor for team members.

Requirements

  • Experience in .NET, C#, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Windows Servers, Windows Applications, Json, JavaScript, Monitoring tools, ServiceNow, and DevOps.
  • 3+ years of relevant/industry experience.
  • A university/college degree (Bachelor's).
  • Ability to create and lead technical design and development of software solutions.
  • Ability to facilitate complex problem resolution.
  • Knowledge of application delivery, design, architecture, development tools, testing, and system development life cycle.
