Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Lead Specialty Software Engineer in Summit, New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact.
  • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines.
  • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors.
  • Work with Enterprise Pipeline team on CI/CD, SAST, DAST tool chain.
  • Collaborate with Cloud technology teams, including Google Cloud and Cloudera CDP, and support migration efforts.
  • Design high performing data models on big-data architecture as data services.
  • Partner with Enterprise data teams such as Data Management & Insights and Enterprise Data Environment (Data Lake) to identify migration paths for tenant development teams.
  • Work with business analysts, development teams, and project managers for requirements and business rules.
  • Support ongoing data management efforts for Development, QA, and Production environments.
  • Leverage industry trends and available technology to build best-in-class solutions.
  • Act as an expert technical resource to programming staff during development, testing, and implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field.
  • Five (5) years of experience in data engineering or related roles involving large-scale technology solutions.
  • Five (5) years of Big Data (Hadoop) engineering experience.
  • Five (5) years of Technical Leadership experience.
  • Five (5) years of Quantitative Solutions engineering experience.
  • Five (5) years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience.
  • Two (2) years of Cloud Experience.
  • Experience in AI/ML modelling and algorithms with clustering, regression, and classification use cases.
  • Experience with end-to-end design and delivery of ETL processes using multiple SORs.
  • Experience with software development in Python, C#, C, and Java in an enterprise environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in hybrid environments with legacy ETL and Data Warehouse applications alongside big-data applications.
  • Experience working with Infrastructure Engineers and System Administrators on big-data infrastructure design.
