Key Responsibilities

Serve as a member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way.
Develop mobile features that enhance customer control over banking services.
Strategize on leveraging big data to improve clients' trading systems.
Create innovations in payments for merchants.
Support the integration of private and public cloud platforms for clients.
Perform project development using Mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, DB2, ISPF commands/utilities, ENDEVOR, CICS with VSAM and DB2 handling.
Utilize incident management and change request management tools.
Work with scheduling tools like CA7 and Control-M.
Use debugging tools for batch and online environments (e.g., Xpeditor, Abend Aid).
Handle impact analysis, design document creation, change release, deployment, monitoring, and estimation.
Participate in SDLC cycle activities.
Deploy COBOL applications and perform unit testing using Micro Focus frameworks.

Requirements

9+ years of relevant experience as a Software Engineer.
Hands-on experience with Mainframe technologies: COBOL, JCL, DB2.
Proficiency with ISPF commands and utilities.
Knowledge of ENDEVOR configuration tool.
Experience with CICS, VSAM, and DB2 handling.
Familiarity with FileAID for DB2 and file management.
Exposure to incident and change request management tools.
Knowledge of scheduling tools such as CA7 and Control-M.
Experience with debugging tools like Xpeditor and Abend Aid.
Working knowledge of Assembler language.
Experience working within SCRUM methodology and handling JIRA.
Ability to perform impact analysis, create design documents, and manage change releases.
Understanding of SDLC cycle.
Knowledge of Micro Focus Unit Testing Framework and deploying COBOL applications.
