About the Role

The role involves automating the hardware certificate renewal process on mainframe and storage systems using Python. The project aims to replace manual, repetitive tasks to improve system stability, reduce resource constraints, and support technological advancement. This position is for an advanced infrastructure developer within a large-scale environment, based in Jersey City, NJ.

Key Responsibilities

Coding to automate hardware certificate renewal process using Python.
Automate the manual and repetitive process of applying certificates (Mainframe Hardware & Storage).
Alleviate resource constraints, enhance system stability, and foster technological advancements through automation.

Requirements

Significant experience in both Systems Engineering and Software development.
Proficient in at least one of the infrastructure disciplines and functions, such as internals of distributed Operating Systems (Unix/Linux, Windows, Z/OS), systems programming, or network programming.
Experience in large scale software development in one or more programming languages (C, C++, Perl, Python, Java, C#,.NET).
Knowledge of enterprise scale and resiliency.
Experience in system and software security and entitlements (SSO, Windows, Kerberos, LDAP, Windows AD).
Familiarity with modern compute technologies (e.g., virtualization, cloud).
Experience with Agile development process and automated testing.
Experience working across large infrastructure environments and distributed across multiple data centers.
Experience in end-to-end systems automation and orchestration.
Experience in systems and application monitoring systems and instrumentation.
