About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Build a new small but might team with 10x engineers focused on AI driven growth initiatives, partnering with product leaders and other teams.
• Partner closely with product, design, data science, and engineering teams for rapid experimentation and scale.
• Manage the Growth team engineers as well as contributing engineers working on the core cause.
• Think strategically and drive for results by building a high performing team and placing the right people in the right roles.
• Lead innovation by embracing new ideas and fostering a spirit of collaboration to produce outstanding results for customers.
• Create and bring customer-driven software products to market that simplify current needs and build for the future.
• Create a shared vision and build strong cross-functional relationships with partners across the business.
• Build full stack experiences and solutions with both Frontend and Backend technologies.
• Foster a culture of data-driven rapid iteration, technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor and develop engineers to grow their technical skills and advance their careers.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Gen AI, automation, and related technologies to identify opportunities for enhancing agentic experiences.

Requirements

• Hands-on technologist with strong leadership and management experience.
• 8+ years experience as an established technical leader of software engineering teams that have successfully delivered customer-driven software products.
• Experience working on Growth initiatives in large tech or FinTech companies.
• Demonstrated experience leading positive change, empowering people, cultivating product technology visions, and fostering effective engineering teams.
• Adept at articulating the product vision and driving the future roadmap with strong business acumen.
• Experience leveraging AI / Gen AI to automate and improve user experience.
• Ability to think and act strategically for all stakeholders.
• Minimum of 14-16 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Experience with Agile development, SaaS, and related technologies.
• Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent work-related experience.
• Full stack experience in building both Frontend and Backend capabilities.
• Experience in building real-time platforms and multi-tenant solutions.
• Experience in Fintech and/or financial Risk & Fraud, payment systems is an advantage.
• Proven track record of execution, engineering excellence, and customer obsession.

• Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach.
• Expected base pay range in Bay Area California is $231,000 - $312,000.
• Position eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits in accordance with applicable plans and programs.
• Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
