About the Role

Hilton Grand Vacations is currently seeking a technical professional to lead team(s) towards successful delivery of projects and products. This results-driven individual will be responsible for the strategic approach to ensure efficiency in the delivery, performance and quality of applications. The candidate will need to have a strong drive and commitment towards collaborative problem solving, identifying workable solutions, removing roadblocks across the development team, IT operations (infrastructure) and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the success of the assigned deliverable, which may involve managing multiple projects or teams related to a specific initiative.
  • Technical project planning and resource management, including generating reports using data and providing analysis (e.g., Azure DevOps queries, Power BI).
  • Identify and manage risks to deliverables, including developing contingency plans to mitigate issues.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the team to ensure they have the skills and support needed to complete their tasks.
  • Effectively communicate progress, plans, and roadblocks to stakeholders and peers across the IT organization.
  • Improve processes by providing recommendations for automation.
  • Adapt to new technology, changing priorities, and environments.
  • Establish and enforce team processes, procedures, and standards.
  • Hold design and code review sessions as needed.
  • Perform other responsibilities and projects as business and department needs arise.

Requirements

  • Track record of successful project and product delivery on time and with quality.
  • Experience managing and delivering complex work from start to finish.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure and database systems, specifically Oracle RDBMS.
  • Development and/or QA testing experience.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Web Technologies.
  • Project management experience.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 7+ years of related experience.
  • 6+ years of supervisory experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Agile SDLC process.
  • Process improvement and automation experience.
  • Timeshare industry experience.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
