The Manager Data Science role is part of the Analytics, Investment and Marketing Enablement (AIM) team within GCS Marketing Organization, focusing on driving profitable growth through data, analytics, AI-powered targeting, and personalization capabilities. Based out of New York, this role involves proactive retention and save analytics across the SME segment, impacting charge volume of over 2 billion dollars.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearheading analytics to drive organic growth strategies comprising of customer retention efforts across marketing and sales channels.
  • Developing and enhancing precursors in AI models by partnering with Decision Science and collaborating across Marketing, Risk, and Sales to design customized treatments.
  • Serving as a key analytical partner to the Marketing and Measurement teams to report on digital, field, and phone programs that promote growth and retention.
  • Supporting GCS partners with actionable, insightful analytical solutions such as triggers and prioritization tiers to help the Field and Phone Sales teams prioritize efforts effectively.
  • Partnering with functional leaders, strategic business partners, and senior leaders to identify opportunities for better customer engagement and revenue growth.
  • Engaging, influencing, and inspiring partners and stakeholders through excellent communication skills to drive collaboration and alignment.
  • Executing and refining analytical frameworks, resolving issues, identifying opportunities, defining success metrics, and driving automation.
  • Challenging the status quo with breakthrough thinking to generate insights, alternatives, and opportunities for business success.

Requirements

  • MBA or a master's degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Economics.
  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience in marketing analytics.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to apply quantitative methods and business skills to create insights and drive results.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and across a matrix organization, partnering with business, capabilities, technology teams, and external vendors.
  • Strong programming skills with SQL or Python.
  • Good knowledge of statistical techniques like hypothesis testing, regression, kNN, t-test, and chi-square test (preferred).
