About the Role

Under the mentorship of the Executive Director of Global Marketing & Social Analytics, this role supports the Theatrical Marketing department by enabling data-informed decision-making across the U.S. and key global territories. The position focuses on data exploration, visualization, and analysis to optimize marketing strategies and the efficiency of campaigns. Paramount Pictures is a historic film studio with a global presence, known for producing and distributing entertainment content worldwide, fostering a culture of engagement, creativity, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a data storyteller by crafting impactful deliverables and clearly communicating insights and recommendations to creative, technical, and business partners
  • Conduct complex analyses to inform the strategic prioritization, optimization, and performance evaluation of global marketing campaigns—both paid and organic
  • Support the design, execution, and analysis of marketing and media experimentation initiatives across U.S. and international markets in collaboration with key partners from across the marketing department
  • Leverage analytics tools to conduct in-depth multi-platform performance deep dives and extract findings from digital creative testing across platforms
  • Present findings from brand lift studies, audience behavior, campaign performance, and regional box office trends to support strategic decision-making
  • Partner closely with creative marketing teams to provide rotation recommendations for digital and TV media, based on campaign data
  • Monitor real-time audience reactions across social media, digital platforms, and other feedback channels to identify trends in moviegoing behavior, consumer patterns, and new technologies
  • Surface insights, compile industry trends and perform competitive analyses to support strategy development and tactical decisions
  • Lead and implement ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and research projects to support marketing strategies within the theatrical landscape

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in a highly analytical, data-driven environment (e.g., entertainment, digital media, consumer insights, consulting, investment banking)
  • Shown ability to craft and implement analytics and insights projects across U.S. and global markets
  • In-depth understanding of the TV, streaming, and social media landscape—including both paid and organic metrics
  • Experience within a major studio, streaming platform, or theatrical marketing agency
  • Ability to independently identify key questions, perform quantitative analyses, and present findings clearly and concisely
  • Experience in market research or consumer insights, particularly within the theatrical space
  • Experience with the MarTech/AdTech ecosystem, including analyzing brand lift study results
  • Experience with audience intelligence and social listening tools (e.g., Talkwalker, ListenFirst, Affinio/Audiense, Brandwatch, Sprinklr)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Google Data Studio, PowerBI)
  • Experience in project management, including coordination with external vendors to deliver data-informed marketing strategies

Nice to Have

  • Experience in market research or consumer insights, particularly within the theatrical space
