Manager Software Engineering (multiple openings) - IHM

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Hire, retain, and lead a high-functioning, diverse group of engineering professionals.
• Establish clear objectives and key results for the team.
• Develop consistent practices and processes across the engineering team.
• Drive towards resolution of challenging technical problems.
• Manage performance aspects of engineers, including providing 360 feedback and conducting reviews.
• Support telecommuting and/or working from home in accordance with company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Four years of experience in a Software Engineering-related occupation or in the offered role.
• Experience with design and programming technologies including Java, JavaScript, or SQL.
• Utilization of technologies such as Ansible, Chef, Python, AWS, OpenShift, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of testing and build/deploy concepts including TDD and BDD using tools like Cucumber, Gradle/Maven, or SonarQube.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Chef, Ansible, or Nexus.
• Object-oriented programming skills.
• Designing high availability and scalable code, with performance monitoring using APM tools like AppDynamics.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or Postgres.
• Development and maintenance of backend systems including Oracle, MySQL, or Postgres.
• Utilization and development of financial core processing technologies including Finacle.

Nice to Have

• Experience with developing and maintaining financial core processing technologies.
• Familiarity with market competitive compensation structures and incentives.
