About the Role

As the Manager of Solution Engineering at Freshworks, you will lead a high-performing, field-based team of Solution Engineers who help customers solve real-world problems with creativity and technical savvy. You will coach, inspire, and empower your team to deliver value through conversations, demos, and solutions, while influencing product direction and collaborating with sales and product leaders. Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of Solution Engineers, fostering a culture of growth, trust, and excellence.
Hire, onboard, and develop top talent to scale with the company's growth.
Build go-to-market strategies, new business and expansion playbooks, and drive cross-functional collaboration.
Partner closely with Sales to analyze pipeline health, win rates, and customer feedback, then take action.
Champion customer needs internally by working with Product Managers to influence the product roadmap and elevate the voice of the customer.
Act as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders, including C-level leaders at customer organizations.

Requirements

3+ years leading pre-sales or Solution Engineering teams, ideally in ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, or a related space.
7-10 years overall industry experience in enterprise SaaS or related domains.
Deep experience engaging with senior IT leaders and CIOs, navigating complex enterprise sales cycles.
Strong storytelling skills in technical demos and solution selling that focus on value rather than just features.
Tech-savvy collaborator who thrives in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
Experience building and scaling repeatable pre-sales processes and frameworks.

Nice to Have

Experience in ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, or closely related fields.
