Key Responsibilities

  • Support capital projects and implement solutions for clients individually and in teams.
  • Develop Ignition and Sepasoft applications, including databases, data handling, reporting, scripting (Python), and REST API development, primarily focusing on OEE applications.
  • Work on large projects with other engineering disciplines, such as greenfield design of new manufacturing plants and associated software systems.
  • Participate in onsite startup of systems designed and implemented.
  • Understand project requirements to develop applications suitable for manufacturing environments.
  • Create project development and commissioning plans considering technical and operational constraints.
  • Manage multiple scopes of work across various project phases simultaneously.
  • Communicate with client stakeholders to understand scopes of work and deliverables.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of System Integration, SCADA / industrial software development experience.
  • Experience in OEE applications and integration is preferred.
  • Experience in frontend development including HMI screens, visualization, real-time dashboards, graphics, and controls.
  • Experience in backend development involving processes, storage, data and device communication, and data flow management.
  • Knowledge of IaC platforms such as Azure, Oracle, Google, and/or AWS.
  • Experience with Container/Orchestration IaC tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Ability to collaborate on IS MES/MOS projects and train other resources in the region.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, C#, Transact SQL, and Oracle.
  • Experience with Ignition Perspective development and Sepasoft MES platform is a strong positive.
  • Understanding of manufacturing back-end infrastructure including hardware, virtualization, OS, networking, and databases.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to organize and execute multiple project responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for project installation, startup, client meetings, and industry events.
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with non-industrial software solutions for large MES projects.
  • Experience with VMware and various operating systems including Windows and Linux.
  • Knowledge of back-end computing infrastructure used in manufacturing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science/Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
