About the Role

The Marketing Data Analytics role at Calance US involves leveraging statistical analysis and data modeling techniques to evaluate marketing strategies and optimize marketing spend across various channels. The position is crucial for driving data-informed decision-making and enhancing overall marketing performance, with responsibilities including overseeing marketing mix models, analyzing large datasets, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and presenting insights to stakeholders. This is a hybrid, contract-to-hire position based in Plano, TX, requiring working onsite three days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversight of development and implementation of Marketing Mix Models (MMM) to assess the impact of various marketing channels on sales and brand performance.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including media, marketing, and sales, to gather data and understand business objectives.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and compelling reports and visualizations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns, providing actionable insights for optimization.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing analytics and data science.
  • Conduct scenario analysis and forecasting to support strategic planning and budget allocation.
  • Assist in the development of dashboards and tools for ongoing performance tracking.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with Marketing Mix Models (MMM) and Analytics.
  • Experience with public speaking skills, able to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and having client/customer-facing experience.
  • Must have a marketing background, deep understanding of data science analytics and Marketing Mix Models (MMM).
  • Experience with building models, data modeling, understanding of business applications, and conducting scenario analysis and forecasting.
  • Proven experience in Marketing Analytics, Data Analysis, or a related role focused on developing/implementing Marketing Mix Models (MMM).
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and metrics, including ROI, customer acquisition cost, and lifetime value.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Python, SAS) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with machine learning techniques and advanced statistical methods.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels and their measurement.
  • Experience in the Automotive vertical.
