Marketing Design Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design marketing collateral including flyers, brochures, banners, and billboards that follow federal branding and accessibility standards (508 compliance, hyperlink formatting, etc.)
• Create and schedule at least two social media posts per day across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and others—focused on benefits, events, and recruiting campaigns
• Execute paid advertising campaigns through Facebook/Instagram Ads and Google Display Network; manage budgets over $5,000
• Support event marketing by designing on-site collateral, coordinating with print vendors, and ensuring timely delivery
• Prepare and present monthly performance dashboards that analyze social reach, engagement, and lead conversion effectiveness
• Develop a statewide annual marketing plan with phased outreach initiatives due by July 1 of each fiscal year
• Manage daily social media strategy and content calendar
• Coordinate digital ad buys and track media spend (~$9K/month)
• Design visual assets and ensure 508 compliance across deliverables
• Analyze performance metrics and prepare monthly ROI reports
• Collaborate with internal and government-facing teams

Requirements

• 3+ years in marketing, advertising, or visual communications
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and social media tools
• Strong writing, design, and visual storytelling skills
• Experience tracking campaign analytics and optimizing content
• Secret clearance required (or ability to obtain)
