About the Role

The Massachusetts Medical Society (MMS) is the statewide professional association for physicians and medical students, supporting 25,000 members. The Marketing Operations Assistant Co-Op role involves working within the Marketing Operations team in the Customer Experience and Marketing department of MMS's Publishing Division, gaining experience in marketing technologies and operations related to medical publications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing support for marketing operations initiatives including ad campaign planning and scheduling, campaign set-up, testing, and QA.
  • Create marketing campaign reports and assist with analytics and reporting for email promotions and ad campaigns.
  • Manage promotions in e-newsletters and website properties.
  • Traffic and report on onsite ads for marketing campaigns.
  • Review test emails, verify links, and validate landing pages and ecommerce pages are functioning properly.
  • Perform QA and testing of landing pages and ecommerce pages.
  • Create documentation for campaign reporting processes.
  • Assist with other projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and strong communication skills.
  • Interest in and understanding of marketing operations and technology.
  • Desire to learn or familiarity with web analytics.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.
  • Experience working with spreadsheets and databases.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred.
  • Excel proficiency is required; training will be provided on other systems.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence and Web Analytics principles and terminology.

Qualifications

  • Interest in marketing operations and technology.
  • Experience working with spreadsheets and databases.
